Moemina is a journalist based in Melbourne with over five years of experience in the field. She has worked as a regional reporter for News Corp and a local Turkish community newspaper.
Moemina enjoys being involved in the community, reporting on local stories, and meeting incredible people along the way. With a bachelor’s degree in media and communication, as well as master’s degrees in journalism and international relations, Moemina is eager to explore her interest in sharing stories from diverse communities across Australia. Moemina produces The Wire program for SYN in Melbourne, Victoria.

Emma Wotzke
Emma is an Adelaide-based journalist and media professional. She also writes and produces art. Emma began her undergraduate in Social Work at the University of South Australia before segueing into Writing and Creative Communications.
She since completed postgraduate qualifications in Journalism and Public Relations at Deakin University. Emma has over nine years’ experience in print, broadcast and online mediums covering topics from social justice, women’s rights, Indigenous affairs and politics to health, human interest, education and the arts.
A detour through the doors of Radio Adelaide in 2020 led to her unexpected love for the airwaves and community radio. She joined The Wire as a reporter in February 2023 and now produces Thursday’s program.

Mary-Kate Hannagan is a Gold Coast based journalist, recently graduating from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Communications and Journalism.
Although only in the beginning of her career, Mary-Kate has a passion for storytelling and investigative journalism. With her core interests and knowledge lying in social justice issues like climate, gender relations, and media reporting and ethics, Mary-Kate is committed to amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities.

Eduardo Jordan
Eduardo is originally from Mexico but is currently calling Brisbane home. With background in IT, Eduardo decided life behind a computer wasn’t for him and made the change to journalism.
He moved to Australia where he completed his Masters in Journalism and a PhD, so still a lot of time behind computers!
Eduardo worked at Amnesty International before coming to The Wire in 2011. He became of the Brisbane team’s most senior reporters and loves reporting on Indigenous issues and international news while drinking lots of coffee. Now, he produces The Wire on behalf of Radio 4EB.
