Labor MP Peta Murphy, has passed away from breast cancer at the age of 50, confirmed by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. Albanese struggled with emotion in a statement he made from parliament.
Mrs Murphy, representing Dunkley, attended the House of Representatives last week before receiving palliative care at home, where she passed away surrounded by family.
