Should Australia withdraw from Syria air strikes?

Tasmanian Independent MP Andrew Wilkie has called on the Australian government not to send any more ‘defense assets’ to Syria. He says Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull should immediately announce a plan for the withdrawal of all defense assets from the Middle East, claiming our involvement in attacks on Syria and Iraq is making us a target for Islamic State.
