Shorten proposes stolen generation compensation

10 years after the apology, the Closing the Gap report showed huge discrepancies still exist between white and black Australia.

The Opposition Leader Bill Shorten today proposed a compensation package for some surviving members of the Stolen Generation.

But some are asking whether it will really make a difference, or if it is mere lip-service to the Indigenous community.
