Now that the Government has announced it’s placing the final ETS deal on the table tomorrow morning, sceptics in the Coalition ranks are crying foul- bemoaning a loss of time to debate the legislation. So given that the scheme is so integral to Rudd’s political strategy for action on climate change , why rush the debate?
