Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, more commonly known as SIDS has been a silent killer of children for years. A killer that leaves parents with no answers as to why their child died.

A new breakthrough in SIDS research undertaken by the University of Adelaide in collaboration with Harvard Medical School and the Boston Children’s Hospital has revealed a possible cause for SIDS; while emphasising the importance of making sure a child is placed on its back to sleep.
