Privatising Iraqi oil

On the eve of the 5th anniversary of the US led occupation of Iraq, the fate of the country’s most valuable asset, oil, is at stake. A US survey claims that the majority of Iraqi citizens believe the US invasion was motivated by war. Now the United States is leading a tussle over Iraq’s new oil policy. A policy that will govern one of the biggest oil reserves in the world.
