The Federal Government has released the long awaited Counter-Terrorism White Paper. It emphasises the need to strengthen the management of Australia’s borders, while noting that domestic or home-grown terrorists may be our greatest threat. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd today said that the challenge of counter-terrorism is real, and the threat that we face is now a permanent threat.
