Queensland’s year 12 cohort are the first to graduate under the newly implemented ATAR system.
Now, all of Australia uses the ATAR system, which is a ranking system used for determining most tertiary education acceptance.
However, a recent report has recommended the ATAR system no longer be the dominent decider of teriary enterance but rather the score be incorporated into a Learner Profile.
