People across Australia were holding “Afternoon Teals” today and wearing teal ribbons to raise awareness of Ovarian Cancer. Today is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day, the culmination of a month of activities focussed on the cause. Ovarian cancer is often diagnosed in its later stages, claiming hundreds of Australian women’s lives per year.
