Northern Territory Chief Minister Adam Giles has abolished the Department of Indigenous Advancement in his new cabinet. The decision is aimed at making indigenous affairs a greater part of mainstream politics. However there are concerns that losing the portfolio will create a lack of accountability in indigenous issues.
