Recently, the Federal government stated immigration coming from West Africa will be stopped, including the humanitarian support to the area. The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation launched a poll to its members, where they asked if they would volunteer to go to West Africa to help combat the virus.
The poll launched an outstanding 25% of nurses and midwives would volunteer. Medical organisations are advocating to the government to step up in its humanitarian aid.
