Thousands of submissions concerning the re-zoning of the Solitary Islands Marine Park near Coffs Harbour have been delivered to the New South Wales department for the environment. With plans to extend no-take fishing zones from twelve to twenty percent of the park, the re drafting will impact significantly on both the region’s highly valued fishing industry and recreational fishers alike.
