This Friday marks the 30th anniversary of the birth of the world’s first IVF baby. Since that time it has become an accepted and common practice with approximately 15% of infertile couples in Australia using the program with success. Therese Miller and her husband tried for five years before using IVF to fall pregnant with their first child Zoe. A journalist and author Therese has explored her story and the often difficult experiences of other infertile couples in her new book, ‘Making Babies – Personal IVF Stories’.
