Grandparents are increasingly playing a much larger role in the lives of their grandchildren. But its hard for them to provide primary care when official agencies wont recognize them as full time carers. Today, in a national first, the South Australian government released a method of gaining caregiver rights by statutory declaration, which is designed to help these grandparents keep their kids safe.
