A veteran of the community radio sector was on this year’s Australia Day Honours list for services to broadcast media, awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia.
Ian Stanistreet was the CEO of key funding and key advocacy body, the Community Broadcasting Foundation for 20 years before retiring in 2020.
