Federal report reveals social media impact and Meta’s withdrawal

The Federal government has tabled a second interim report around its social media inquiry.

The report shows the influence and impacts of social media on the Australian community and the decision of social media corporation Meta of abandoning its deal with the government.

The report also did recommendations so public journalism becomes more sustainable.
