The ever more distant dream of home ownership

Fewer than half of Australian adults will own their own home by next year, a national household survey projects.

The Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) report, released today, reveals some bleak findings about housing affordability, with younger Australians the hardest hit.
