The Taskgroup on Energy Efficiency says Australians need to aim for a 30% increase in our energy efficiency by 2020. It also found that such efforts won’t do much to reduce our emissions if we don’t have a price on carbon. Environmentalists are hopeful that the report will strengthen the argument for setting a price on pollution.
