Election 2013- Northern Territory intervention

The Wire scopes out the differences between Coalition and ALP policy towards the Northern Territory’s remote communities and speaks with a new group called Australia’s First Nations Political Party, which wants all remnants of the NT Intervention scrapped.

The Northern Territory intervention was a John Howard policy initiative which the Gillard-ALP led government replaced with a policy called ‘Stronger Futures’ in 2012.
