Detention fees – An immoral charge, or an important deterrent to people smugglers?

Refugees are in the spotlight again, as parliament debates today whether they should pay for their time in detention. In the meantime, on-line action group GetUp are sending a delegation of refugees to Canberra to try to convince Liberal and National Senators that refugees shouldn’t be charged.
