Bilingual Education in the Northern Territory

In around half a dozen schools in the Northern Territory Indigenous children are taught in English for the first four hours of their school day, and in their own language for the rest of the day. This is part of the Northern Territory’s Bilingual education policy that has sparked a number of debates.
