Australia prepares for bushfire season

Fires threaten homes on the east coast of Australia as organisations gear up for the start of the bushfire season.

With a dry winter and what is expected to be one of the hottest summers on record, fire services are expecting a dangerous season.

Forestry groups, academics and firefighters are all preparing for the months ahead.
