Arts funding cuts raise fears for touring Australian musicians

Up and coming artists could be hard hit after arts cuts have shrunk vital support for touring musicians. Australian musical export organisation, Sounds Australia was last week denied funding under the governments new art fund, Catalyst. The cuts come as 62 arts organisations have lost funding under a reduced Australia Council for the Arts grants budget.
