According to the Australian community, Women who are intoxicated are more likely to be blame for getting raped, but is it just another defence for men to transgress violent crimes? A recent survey from the VicHealth institute reveals that one in five people believe that if a woman is drunk or drug affected, then she is partly responsible for rape. In Australia, the law that cover rape is very complicated, Professor Mary Heath from Flinders law school says the law is clear but it’s the community attitude that makes justice difficult.
