Are Australians intolerant of cyclists?

Cyclist fatalities are on the rise, having more than doubled in NSW since 2012 according to the Amy Gillett Foundation. Nationwide, 46 cyclists have been killed this year and a significant number are caused by driver error. Dr Marilyn Johnson from the Amy Gillett Foundation says Australia lacks the cycling culture seen in European countries.
