A new Prime Minister, a new Education Minister, and now perhaps a new Gonski. The June 30 deadline for all States and Territories to sign up to Gonski has passed, but negotiations rage on behind closed doors. A major contributor to those negotiations is the National Catholic Education Commission. It’s holding out for more funds and more discretionary power in how those funds are spent.
