A leading international animal welfare lawyer says Australia should follow countries like Switzerland, Holland and South Korea who have animal dignity protected in legislation. Antoine F. Goetschel, the animal welfare lawyer for the Canton of Zurich, is touring the country as part of the Voiceless national law lecture series, speaking on how Australia can improve with regards to animal legislation.
