‘Heavy weather’ predicted for defence force as climate change bites

Australian defence forces will be subjected to climate change effects, a new report says. Australian Strategic Policy Institute released a new paper today. The 2009 Defence White Paper gave very little attention to the issue, but the report argues major preparations have to be done. Report titled ‘Heavy weather: Climate and the Australian Defence Force’ says climate change is going to impact defence organization on multiple levels.
