It looks like all’s well with the mining boom – if you believe the findings in a report released today by the Reserve Bank of Australia. The discussion paper says mining has created half a million jobs in seven years, and healthy flow-on employment in other industries. But not everyone is convinced that the mining industry is a golden child.
