Queensland’s Ecosystem Health Report Card released this week shows stretches of Brisbane’s waterways are severely unhealthy. One of the worst sections runs from the Wivehoe dam wall to Mount Crosby weir – and has been slammed with an F grade.
According to the Australian Rivers Institute, Brisbane’s water just isn’t up to scratch.The report card shows one section in our waterway is so unhealthy, they gave it a fail grade.Somerset Regional Council covers one part of the failed area, but Mayor Graham Lehmann says the community shouldn’t be worried.
