Today Senator Bob Carr signed a deal that will create the framework for the sale of uranium to the United Arab Emirates. Senator Carr has assured that the UAE has fulfilled all the requirements but some are not so convinced. David Sweeney from the Australian Conservation Foundation believes that this decision will compromise security in the middle east.
