Campaigners pushing for a boost in unemployment benefits look set to be disappointed, but there will be a start to a national disability insurance scheme, and a blitz on waiting lists those who can’t afford to visit a dentist.

Many community sector organisations are relieved that companies and individuals with deeper pockets are being targeted in the budget to fund these new spending initiatives.
