Earlier this week Australia agreed to supply Uranium to China under strict safeguards—but just a couple of days later, we also signed off on a deal with Taiwan. Given the troubled relationship between the two, the safety of the deals has to be questioned, especially with some questions over Taiwan’s status with regards to the nuclear non-proliferation treaty.
