The issues of binge drinking and alcohol-related violence are back in the spotlight around the country again, with restrictions on hotel trading hours seen as a solution. A bill has been introduced in the South Australian parliament calling for a 4am curfew on pubs, clubs and hotels, and today in NSW emergency service workers launched a campaign called Last Drinks. But what will be the wider community effects of a curfew, and should other strategies be explored?
