The National Party is Australia’s second oldest party. Federally they are welded firmly to the Liberal partyand its sometimes hard to tease out how different their policies are . But rural issues aren’t as clear cut as they used to be – and there has been talk of farmers flirting with the Greens – especially on environmental issues like the takeover of farming land.
