Those were the words of the Preamble that was included in the Constitution of Queensland back in February this year. The preamble, which was a product of the Queensland 2020 Ideas Summit, was a milestone for Indigenous Australians and the Queensland government, acknowledging the contribution and importance of Indigenous people in the state.
