In the brutality and chaos of a warzone its hard to imagine that any kind of laws or regulations can prevent atrocities from occurring. But the Red Cross says that the laws of war are vital in ensuring that there are limits to wartime violence. They’ve launched a campaign to counter growing cynicism about the laws of war.
