Get Up have launched a new campaign to support Aboriginal homelands in the Northern Territory. It’s an issue The Wire has been covering quite closely and Get Up are currently circulating a petition calling on the Federal Government to increase investment in homelands. A delegation of leaders from homeland communities are meeting the federal Minister for Indigenous Affairs on Tuesday and GetUp hopes the petition will add weight support for increased funding.
