The community at the mouth of the Murray tried a new approach to their problems today. They took part in a Deep Ecology workshop. Workshop leader John Seed has worked with the likes of David Suzuki and David Attenborough using the deep ecology method to sort out emotional responses to environmental issues before rtrying practical solutions. John says the River’s problems are quite a challenge even for his philosophy.
