The proposal by the Federal Governemnt to incorporate more transparency and accountability in the school system has been met with great criticism from many educational bodies. Their idea of incorporating a new website by the end of the year which rates local schools against one another, is said not to be a helpful measure towards the bettering of education and just a political drawcard. Others say that transparency and accountability should be present when it comes to the education of our children.
