88 indigenous women will sit down with Jenny Macklin and Deputy Opposition Leader Julie Bishop tomorrow to discuss the issues facing their communities around the country. It’s a serious girl fest and the women involved range from high Cherie Driley– a mother of six from Taree who runs a bush tucker business in schools. She says she’ll be asking some hard questions about how to bring indigenous kids back into schools and get schools to recognise their culture.
