Closing the gap with indigenous doctors

The Rudd government has allocated 19 million dollars to the Indigenous Health Workforce Training Plan. Members of the Close the Gap campaign to improve indigenous health agree that a mentor program for high school students is where the bulk of the funding should be spent.
