Australian people soon to have their say on Maternity leave

In an historic move, the Australian Industry group and the ACTU have joined forces with the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission to call for a national, tax-payer funded maternity leave scheme. Federal Sex Discrimation Commissioner Liz Broderick says such a scheme needs to take a number of things into consideration.
