La Trobe University has appointed Phil Laufenberg as Australia’s first Pro-Vice Chancellor for Artificial intelligence. A move the university says will help coordinate its growing AI research and guide how AI is used in teaching and learning.
Phil will commence the role on April 6, 2026.
