On Saturday Sydney will be awash with colour as the streets prepare for the 48th Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. It is expected thousands of people will assemble across the city from around the world to take part in the pride parade to celebrate the diversity of queer culture and identity. Stephen Hill asked the CEO of the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Jesse Matheson about the hard work and preparation that has done into the parade and what to expect in this year’s parade.
