The Australian Government announced it will pay superannuation on the government-funded Paid Parental Leave from 1 July 2025.
The announcement comes alongside the release of Australia’s first national strategy to achieve gender equality, titled, ‘Working for Women’.
Paying super on paid parental is a key recommendation of the Women’s Economic Equality Taskforce.
