Watch and Act Alert remains for Barkly blaze

Yesterday, the Barkly LGA issued an emergency declaration as a massive bushfire began moving closer to Tennant Creek.

Around 500 kms north of Alice Springs, Tennant Creek remains under a Watch and Act Alert, after weather conditions improved last night.
