Papua New Guineans go to the polls this weekend – and with previous elections marred by violence, stolen ballot boxes and cases of multiple voting – many are holding their breath in anticipation. But things are changing, and separate female compartments, in an attempt to combat male intimidation over females’ voting, will be introduced.
