Dr Ngaire Brown is an Aboriginal Physician and member of the Australian Indigenous Doctors Association. She agrees that appropriate cultural training is a must for doctors not inexperienced in indigenous affairs. She told The Wire that the first priority of an initiative must be the safety and welfare of children.
